Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) is a state-wide collegiate ministry that is funded by local churches. We are here to share the good news of Jesus Christ with our campuses and local communities. We believe Jesus Christ is God, and our purpose on this earth is to glorify Him in our everyday lives.
Our ministry exists for several reasons:
to make the name of Jesus famous on our campus
to demonstrate the love of God to people on our campus
to encourage fellow believers in their relationship with Christ
to worship Jesus through music and lifestyle
to provide a community where people can get to know each other and have fun
Jesus said:
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
BCM is about following Christ's words with all our hearts. We believe that by developing personal relationships with Christ and sharing the Gospel with others, our campus and world will be impacted and changed for life.
